Wagin Woolorama's Saturday night featured entertainment event. The Wagin Woolorama Rodeo affiliated with ABCRA featuring Barrel Racing, Roping, Steer and Bull Rides. ABCRA is Australia’s largest Rodeo, Campdraft and Challenge Sorting & Penning Association with over 5000 members.
We had an amazing time at the 2020 Wagin Woolorama Unigrain Rodeo, with record crowds! A pleasant summer evening for families was enjoyed by many, with thanks to the brave and strong cowboys and cowgirls who provided the entertainment.
Sponsorship brought in $6800 in cash, plus product prizes. Unigrain contributed $5000 and Spurry's Transport $1500 - the two major sponsors.
Thank you to Dusty Roads WA for sponsoring our entertainment for the evening, the band Rogue!
Australian Bushmen's Campdraft and Rodeo Association (ABCRA)
The Australian Bushmen’s Campdraft and Rodeo Association (ABCRA) is a non-profit Equine Sporting organisation formed in 1946 for the purpose of co-ordinating and assisting affiliated committees to conduct their events.
The ABCRA has a rich history with its heritage strongly built by the ‘man on the land’ and it has grown to be uniquely Australia’s only and largest organisation administering the sports of Campdrafting and Rodeo under one entity.
ABCRA boasts a growing annual membership currently with over 5,000 members.
Of course, we are also extremely proud of our affiliated clubs and associations who conduct in excess of 500 events annually across Australia – events which attract thousands of competitors and fans alike. Our top competitors travel year-round to accumulate points and prize money to qualify for the season finale, the ABCRA National Finals.
ABCRA affiliated committees inject in excess of 1.7million dollars into local economies throughout Australia in support of hospitals, infrastructure projects and in a number of cases other sporting organisations, not to mention charities specifically supporting health and emergency services.
