You Bea-UTE-y! Wagin Woolorama’s Ute Section to roll into 2021 with the new Head Steward Tash Verazzi

Making its return to the Woolorama’s long list of events is the much beloved Ute section of the show; an opportunity for motoring enthusiasts to share in their common passion.

While the event itself may be familiar, there will be one massive change in the 2021 display.

Stepping down from his role as event steward – Scott Bolt will be passing on section responsibilities into the capable hands of Tash Verazzi, who brings to the show committee her passion and an evolving direction for the event.

One of her goals moving forward is to involve a larger number of street-style Utes, to accompany the many country and BNS-style vehicles that are most common to the event.

“With entry sections like Best Chicks Utes, Best Street Ute, Best BNS Ute and a criteria to match each of these, we cater to a diverse range of motorists – so I hope to be able to encourage people to participate in the event whether they are local or not.”

Tash has long been affiliated with the Ute section of the Woolorama, having spent the last 4 years as an entrant herself.

“The Wagin Woolorama is such a well-run show; so to steward the event is an opportunity for me to give back to the community and encourage more people to come down to Ag shows like the Woolarama.”

There is scope for the event to be bigger – and Tash encourages people from metro areas to pay the show a visit.

“Being a motoring event, there is potential for people from the city to come and check it out, or perhaps even enter.”

“It’s just a matter of getting the word out there and showcasing what the Ute event and show itself has to offer.”
