1. FOR BOYS & GIRLS ATTENDING SCHOOL ONLY (including homeschooling)
2. All work exhibited MUST be the work of Juveniles.
3. Articles MUST NOT HAVE BEEN ENTERED BEFORE and MUST BE THE UNAIDED WORK of the exhibitor.

(30cm x 42cm). Items not meeting these criteria will not be displayed.

Wagin Young Artist Award

WAGIN YOUNG ARTIST AWARD
This award is aimed at encouraging young artists. They need to show the whole process behind the creation of a finished work of art.
There are three steps required to create one entry:
(1) The initial rough sketch of an idea.
(2) Exploration of this idea - through resources and/or materials and/or later ideas, A display, not framed needs to be created of these two steps, leading to:
(3) The completed work framed to gallery standard and ready to hang.
Both will be displayed.
Conditions
A. The judge reserves the right to not award prize money if none of the entries fulfil all set criteria, and/or do not meet the high standard required.
B. Entry is open to any junior artist year 7 - 10 residing in the shire of Wag in.
C. All work must be the sole work of the artist and is not to be copied from any source.
D. Any quality art media suitable for 2D works of professional standard may be used.
