  1. Young Judges entry is free.
  2. In the event of overwhelming entries, stewards reserve the right to limit numbers in relevant competitions.
  3. It is the Competitor's responsibility to find the time to compete in their selected events.

E01 Novice 14 - 17 years - Colleges are eligible to enter teams of four, two teams per school (team points are tallied from individual scores).

E02 Open 18 - 25 years - Late entries for Open Competition only, may be accepted on the day depending on available time.

PLUS the student team winning the Merino Junior Team Judging is eligible to claim a prize from the Stud Merino Breeders Association of WA to the value of $770 (inc GST) to cover travel expenses of entering the National Merino Challenge, upon meeting the conditions of entry.

YOUNG JUDGES GRAINS JUDGING COMPETITION

Competitors must be 15 and under 25 years of age on the first of May in the year of the Competition.

Three classes of grain are to be judged by competitors. Four samples in each class will be identified by numbers one to four wiht relevent variety, weight & measurements.

Competitors will be allowed five minutes to judge the four samples and complete each visual judging card. Two minutes will be allowed in the oral section for each competitor o explain his/her placing.
