  1. Competitors must adhere to schedule
  2. Items are judged on presentation, taste and texture. Presentation gains points before food is tasted
  3. All items are to be displayed on flat cardboard with glad oven bags and ties. No paper/plastic plates, glad wrap, sticky tape or doilies.
  4. No packet cakes

Biscuits Class W11: Kiss Biscuits - made to recipe

Kiss Biscuit Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup icing sugar

250gm butter

1 egg

1 cup S.R flour

2 cups plain flour

6 drops of vanilla essence

Cream butter and sugar and then mix in the egg. Add flours and essence and mix. Divide into 3 portions. Roll each portion into even-sized rolls. Cut into even slices. Roll each slice into a ball and place it onto a tray and flatten with a fork. Bake at 190 degrees for 10-15 minutes until pale golden brown. Cool. Join together with raspberry jam.
