Entry tickets can be purchased 3 ways:
•    Skip the queue - use the FAST line at the gate - Online Ticketing
•    EFTPOS at the gate on the day
•    Correct Cash at the gate on the day

Leaving the Show Grounds
If you are leaving the grounds make sure you are wearing your wristband for re-entry. This wristband is only valid for the day of the ticket purchase.


First Aid Post
The first aid post is located outside the western end of the Recreation Centre and is manned by local St John Ambulance Volunteers. 

Lost Property
If you find lost property, please hand it into the Information tent or the Woolorama office. Lost property is kept at the main Woolorama Office and can be contacted during and after the event for information on found property. 


Smoke Free Event
No smoking is permitted within the Showgrounds. If you wish to smoke, please make sure you are wearing your wristband and leave via a showground gate and smoke away from any entry points. 


Parking:
General Parking is available in the Visitor’s Car Park located on the Great Southern Highway north of the Gull Road House. The cost $5 per vehicle per day. Parking can be paid by cash or EFT.


ACROD Parking
ACROD parking entry is located South West Gate 2 on the Arthur River Road and is free to anyone that holds a current ACROD parking permit that must be always displayed.


Food and Drink
The show has a large range of food trucks for all tastes and dietary requirements located in food court 1 and 2. Trucks can also be found scattered in other areas around the showgrounds.
BYO Alcohol is not permitted. There are licensed bar areas around the grounds and at the Rodeo during the Saturday night event. Any alcohol must be consumed inside the licenced area and is strictly 18+ only. 
Free Drinking Water to refill your water bottles will be available throughout the grounds.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:    Can I bring my dog to Woolorama??
A:    No,  Unfortunately, pet dogs cannot attend Woolorama. Only dogs that are competing in the Sheepdog section, working in the Shearing Shed and Registered Companion dogs are welcome. Owners of dogs that do enter for the above reasons are reminded it is their responsibility to clean up after their pets.

Q:    Where can I camp?
A:    Unfortunately, most accommodation in Wagin is already fully booked.  There is no public camping on the Woolorama Showground.  Public overflow Caravan camping is available next to the showgrounds for self-contained caravans/buses.  Bookings can be made online 

Q:    Can I hire a Wheelchair or Gopher?
A:    Yes, these can be hired by contacting the Trade Fair Secretary on 0499 906 072, 98611 611 or by email tradefair@woolorama.com.au

Q:     Can I enter competitions on the day of the event?
A:    All entries to competitions must be in before their individual cut-off date per-event. No entries will be accepted on the event days. 

Q:     Where do I find out what is on each day?
A:     Head to our Entertainment page for details on what is on each day

Q:     Do I need a ticket for my child if kids’ entry is free?
A:     Yes. Please register each child you are bringing to the event if you purchase the tickets online. This helps with contact tracing and know how many wonderful children                attended the show. 

Q:    What is the age limit for free children
A:     Anyone under the age of 18. 

Q:     Do Carers get a discount for looking after someone with a Companion Card?
A:    Yes, they receive discounted entry of $10

Q:     Will cash be accepted at all places in the show?
A:     While the Woolorama accepts cash at the gates it is up to stall holders and exhibitors if they will accept cash or not. 

Q:    Will there be recycling inside the show?
A:    Yes, there will be Containers for Change bins throughout the grounds.

Q:    Can I bring my camera to take take photos at the show?
A:    Yes, you can. Please be mindful of the Wagin Woolorama's Photography policy below.

Persons entering the Showground waive all rights in relation to any photograph, image or likeness of them produced whilst attending the Show. The Society retains all property in all images it produces.
Amateur photographers are permitted to take photographs at the Wagin Woolorama
Showgrounds, providing that:

  • the photographer is not causing annoyance or inconvenience to other Showground patrons;
  • the subject of the photo is permitted by law;
  • the subjects have given their consent (if under 18 then their parent’s consent);
  • the photos are not to be sold or used for commercial gain.

Professional photographers must seek prior written approval from Wagin Agricultural
Society Media before taking any photographs.
